Our West Ryde student Stephanie Isolabella was the recipient of the highest award in the State of NSW for Excellence in Student Achievement.

Stephanie was awarded the coveted Minister’s Award during the ceremony held at the University of NSW in the presence of more than one thousand parents and students. The Assistant Minister for Education, the Hon. Leslie Williams presented Stephanie with her award. In the Highly Commented category our Roselea Student Eleni Dagias was the recipient of the Award and in the Commented category Marirose Victoria Giann  was awarded for the efforts in Modern Greek this year. She is seen here  dressed in the Greek traditional costume of “Amalia” with her teachers and principal.

Stephanie also acted as the Master of Ceremonies during the evening. The Minister’s  Award for Excellence in Student Achievement – Community Languages Schools acknowledges the commitment of outstanding students from Community Languages Schools.
